Half wigs have an integrated headband, which is part of the wig. In my opinion, it looks very good. You can’t even tell it’s a wig, since you can’t see where the headband ends and the hair begins. On most regular wigs you can clearly see the scalp.
There is one thing about these wigs that you should know. Inside the wig there are two, one in the front and one in the back:
When the realistic doll wore this front wig, for several days in a row, it left small holes on her head. These marks are permanent. He also left a line on his forehead, from the headband – but that disappeared after a few hours or more after I took the wig off.

You can’t see many holes in the picture, but when you look directly at his head, you can clearly see them. It doesn’t matter, since she still wears a wig that covers those holes anyway, but still. With UV light you can see the holes better.
As you can see, it doesn’t look good. So to prevent this from happening to your doll, if you were to buy a half wig – all you have to do is make a little adjustment. Just put tape on it. I did it on the front one only, that was enough. Never had more problems since then. And remember, it’s inside the wig, so you won’t be able to see the tape when your doll is wearing the wig.
It is more or less that. Easy adjustment to avoid small holes in your doll’s head. I have a lot of wigs and this is definitely one of my favorites. Highly recommended. Just remember, if you leave the wig on for a few days, you will get that line around the headband forehead. Even though it’s not permanent, you can still avoid it – so just change her wig every other day.
